Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats
I'm always looking for reason to celebrate.
So, today's excuse is the birthday of the eminent poet, playwright, and literary critic....
T. S. Eliot
born this day in 1888, the same year as my paternal grandfather.
I will re-read these delightful poems.
And watch Cats, The Musical,
Remembering when I saw it live at the Fox Theater.
Years ago.

I read the poems as a teen, then saw the musical in L.A. years later at the Pantages Theater (I think that's where it was) in the spring of 1986. Fun memories!

My activities - checking the football games, laundry, sorting knitting patterns, preparing the Sunday school lesson for the 2 & 3-yr-olds tomorrow, and maybe a bit of reading!

@hiddenart - Yup, I'm checking football scores myself, Laura; and hoping to watch the Dawgs on ESPN-U. I can see that Auburn is playing Ball State- Go War Eagles!!
